Returns

Returns of goods must always be agreed in writing. Returns made within 30 days of receipt of goods are credited to the buyer invoice amount less a minimum of 10% plus shipping and packaging costs. Return is made at Detec's expense only if he is responsible for the return due to wrongful expedition, manufacturing defects or the like. Upon return, the buyer must always provide information about the number and date on Detec's invoice or delivery note / parcel note.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase/invoice date, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds less than 10% are granted
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Complaints and Claims on Faulty Goods
Upon receipt, the buyer must inspect the goods and make claim for any obvious errors and defects immediately and no later than 8 days after receipt. Acceptance of a complaint will otherwise not be expected. Claiming deficiencies that can only be discovered after assembly and testing, shall occur immediately after the defect is found, however, no later than 30 days from delivery. Detec reserves the right to repair the item. Detec commits to delivering a fault-free product in accordance with current technical specifications. Detec disclaims responsibility for possible damage or loss that may be directly or indirectly caused by errors or deficiencies in the delivered goods, if it cannot be demonstrated that Detec has shown negligence. Under each circumstance, the responsibility will be limited up to the cost of the goods / services. However, the liability is limited to NOK 100,000. Detec's liability for defects in the delivered goods / service does not include secondary damage or loss.

Warranty / Service
The warranty period is calculated from the date of shipment and applies to the extent that Detec is covered by the supplier's warranty terms, usually 6-12 months. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects and is limited to free repair and replacement of parts and components at Detec's workshop during normal working hours. Freight costs and other costs associated with warranty repairs and regular service are covered by the customer. If buyer wants a warranty service repair performed at the customer's site, travelling costs will be charged. Warranty liability lapses if; there has been intervention in the goods without the seller's consent, the payment terms are not met and / or the goods are damaged as a result of improper handling. The warranty does not cover wear and tear parts or wear and tear due to normal use.

Refunds 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please contact us at faktura@detec.no.

Sale items 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to the address you see in our approval.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
